  Let me start with the important bit: the food earned this place 5 stars. Hands down, one of the best thought through and put together meals I have had in a long time. Every bit of the pork chop, apples, sweet potato, and greens worked so well together. It's refreshing to see so much love go into every part of the creation and preparation of a meal.
  
  That said, the service was on the lacking side. Nothing explicitly wrong with how we were treated, but the whole experience was just slightly off.
  
  But back to the important bit: the food. Even with the weirdness of experience, the meal more than made up for it.
  
  Good for foodies, but maybe not the place for a date with a non-foodie.

  This place has great atmosphere and great food. I can't say enough about how good the pork wings were, had to do a double take, wow; my only complaint was that I ran out of pork wings and didn't eat much of the bed of spicy slaw. Putting some fingerling potatoes underneath instead of that spicy slaw would be world class, my opinion. Fish and chips were good, I paired the coleslaw, that was decent, with the pork wings which matched better. Overall, a great place, and will be back soon.

  The beer list is perfect. I am traditional on food but willing to venture from what I am used to. Had their firecracker fried chicken special and the chicken and mac were great. They had a watermelon coleslaw which is where the miss happened. Not sure how I feel about pickled watermelon but I know my tongue was not happy. Staff was responsive and nice.

  I got the prime rib. It was one of the specials. It was over cooked and thought. The did give me a free desert. I feel the food was just okay for the cost. The atmosphere was nice.

  Made reservations and arrived a bit early. We were asked if we wanted a table or booth (both were readily available) and indicated we wanted a table. Greeter walked to what looked like a bar area and attempted to seat us a high top table which we declined. He then walked us to the main area and directed us toward a both near three open tables. When we asked if we could sit at one of the open tables, he informed us that they were "reserved". We informed him that we had reservations and he then asked us if we wanted one of those tables. Just wanting to end the tour we accepted the booth. Three of our party ordered a steak entrée and they were all over cooked. The service was very good, the appetizer and salads were very good but I don't recommend their steaks.
